Pub Walk in North Yorkshire: Spofforth To Kirkby Overblow Circular
Miles: 6.1 Duration: 3 or 4 Hours
The journey starts in Spofforth, a village steeped in history and where the Magna Carter may have been drafted. It continues through farmers’ fields and over to the shoulder of mutton, looping back you’ll get far reaching views.
This is a lovely walk to do during spring as the bluebells sprout all around the woodland areas.

A great walk all year round, follow farm tracks all the way from Spofforth to Sicklinghall, a beautiful walk whether its snowing or shining

This is a great walk all year round. It is best in April. During this time, English Bluebells sprout and leave a blanket of purple over the gorge floor.

Miles: 4 Duration: 2 hours
Walk back in time 2500 years. Visit the Iron Age Hill fort on the northern side of Barwick in Elmet. It is named Hall Tower Hill and Wendell Hill.
