Walks in Yorkshire
Hello! I am Harry an avid walker/hiker/rambler and scrambler.
I have lived in Yorkshire all of my life. I was lucky enough to grow up in a little village not far from Harrogate. I loved the walking and hiking adventures my parents took me on. Hence creating this website. I have wanted to help give back to Yorkshire. I aim to preserve the natural and raw wild parts for like-minded individuals and groups to enjoy the great outdoors.
My Aim to help the community is to start by mapping out Yorkshire’s most walked footpaths in 360° photos. This will help improve people’s visibility of the terrain, walk or hike before they attempt the route. By doing this I am hoping to educate people, reduce Mountain Rescue call outs. And keep an eye on footpaths that need repairing.
