Looking at the Spotted Ox go down the path to the right of the pub, the forge will be on your left, pass through the gate. Follow the farm track around to the left, follow this track all the way until you reach a wooden gate, go through the gate, and up to the river bank. In front of you will be the River Nidd, and an old water mill, now converted to housing at the other side of the river.  3.       At the other side of the field go through the hedge at the little passageway, onto a road names Ness Lane, watch out for machinery and cars as this road is well used and turn right, continue on this road until you reach a green metal gate, don’t go through the gate.
